1960s Slingerland Drum Set Red Tiger Modern Solo Outfit 22/12/13/16

For your prime viewing pleasure is this awesome vintage Slingerland drum set from the late ’60s in stunning, rare Red Tiger Pearl. This configuration was catalogued as both the New “Rock” and Modern Solo Outfits in the 1968 catalog when this wrap debuted with the stands being the only difference. These are 3-ply drums with chocolate milk interiors and re-rings, though the floor tom had its interior painted black. The set is in clean, well cared for condition with just light signs of age and wear on the wrap and hardware. All hoops are original chrome over brass Stick Savers. The 12″ and 13″ toms each have a small dent in their top hoop that can be felt more than seen and does not affect the fit or tuning in an way. The original Set-O-Matic double tom holder is in great condition and tightens securely, as do the telescoping bass drum spurs and floor tom leg brackets. The bearing edges are true and original, and these drums tune up easily and sound fantastic. Enjoy!
