this is a pretty decent drill. My older one from HF is showing it’s age, the batteries don’t last long now and so I’m looking for a replacement and this one came up in my feed so figured I would give it a shot. Its nearly identical to the one I’m replacing. Fit in my hand, heft very very similar so I like that, it has a light when you hit the trigger, very handy I use this feature often. I tested the drill on it’s various settings, lowest and highest etc to see how the hammer clutch slips when torque is reached. I like it, it’s nearly as good as my old one, I suspect the stiffness is due to this being new and the internals not being run in. I tested the chuck, very nice, very smooth. Easy to adjust. Switching between forward and reverse is a snap and nice and smooth as you would expect and the lock in the center works perfectly. This is a nice little drill. My only complaint is that I thought it was coming with a typical charging base but the wall charger plugs directly into the battery. Which is ok I guess. I need to see if I can get an additional battery. I’m sure the seller has them I just have to find it. Also the bag was a nice touch, however its a bit small and the drill doesn’t fit very well, it’s a bit awkward in there, like the one that my other drill came with is a bit taller and it stands upright in there easy peasy, this one its like sleeping on a mattress that you’re too big for, you’re never quite comfortable, it does fit, yes I can get it in there and get it zipped up but it doesn’t have a spot that it’s comfortable in if that makes sense. It comes with a nice little collection of bits and drivers and the snake attachment is super handy. I tried that on something that I was recently fighting with my hand tools to reach and it was able to get the screw nice and tight without stripping, perfect. The shaft spins very freely it’s such a nice extra. Very pleased. Time will tell how well this guy holds up.
