2Pcs Dishwasher Insulation Blanket – Wall & Pipe Insulation, Sound Insulating Roll (Grey, 16 x 60 Inches)

This review is for the WUBOECE 2Pcs Dishwasher Insulation.We did a kitchen renovation and the original factory insulation on our 12 yr old dishwasher was pretty rough. It had general debris from demo-ing as well as snags and tears from the different times it has been removed and replaced for different repairs. I tried to use the shop vac on it but it was making matters worse as the original was just open-face fiberglass insulation.I purchased this particular insulation because it was one of the few that I could find that were 60 inches. When these arrived, I was a little disappointed because they seemed pretty thin and they’re only 16 inches wide leaving about 6 inches of the dishwasher uncovered. (They were vacuum sealed so that could have contributed to them feeling thin.) However, there were 2 in the pack so I figured I’d just use both.These were easy and quick to install as they just get laid over the dishwasher. I also appreciated working with cotton instead of fiberglass. I think the price was very good for the square footage you get.Sixty inches (length) doesn’t quite cover down to the edges where the original insulation did but I just put the first one down to the edge on one side, and then put the second down to the edge on the other side. I was still a little disappointed how thin they felt but we installed the dishwasher.It has been about a month since we installed them and I must say I’m impressed with these insulation covers. They seem to be retaining the heat well as neither cabinet next to the dishwasher feels warm during the wash cycle or drying cycle. The countertop doesn’t feel any warmer during dishwasher use either.These pieces also seem to provide noise dampening for the dishwasher which is a nice bonus.Overall, while I had my doubts at first about these little covers, I’m glad I bought them and would recommend them.
