Better Homes & Gardens Arc Metal Floor Lamp, Black Finish

I really like the looks of this lamp and how it doesn’t take up much space in my living room. It seems to be all metal with no plastic parts, except for the on/off button. The lampshade is white fabric, not plastic. The base of the lamp only measures 13″ x 10″. The tallest part of the arc is 6 feet and arcs out about 3 feet from the base. The lampshade is 16″ in diameter and 9 inches in height. The only way to switch it on is with a foot-activated push button on the cord, making it very easy to turn on and off. Though I could see how some might have problems if they have kids, dogs, or cats because it is easy to push. It does provide a good amount of light without taking up any space from my side table. It was fairly easy to put together, even though there were no instructions included. There were two extra screws and a hex key provided in case you need to make any adjustments. Putting the lampshade together was probably the hardest part, so get someone to help with that if you can. If not, then prop it on a couch or chair and roll it around the metal rings, snapping the fabric on as you go. Remember that the ring with the crossbars will be the top of the shade. It’s a great addition to my living room. I would definitely recommend this lamp.
