CTA Tools 7030 Master Cylinder Adapter 56mm – Compatible with Honda and Acura

I bought this adapter to use with my Motive bleeder for ’10 Acura MDX. The cap itself creates a pretty tight fit as needed. To lock it in place though, you have to turn it half way, push down on the cap while supporting the brake reservoir, and then turn the rest of the way. Removing is just the reverse … turn, pull up, and then turn the rest of the way.To make it work with my Motive bleeder, I didn’t bother trying to replace the adapter on the cap. Instead, I bought a 3/8 ID tubing and placed it over the existing silver adapter like some of the other reviewers. Bought a hose repair kit that included a 3/8 barb and necessary clamps. It held pressure fine at 10-15 psi.Overall, it worked out great and much better solution than the one offered by Motive for Hondas/Acuras.
