I had a rat problem in my condo–a mother rat had nested in my water shutoff valve box where the pipes go into the wall and was coming out at night tearing twigs off my rosebushes and lemon tree for the nest as well as eating the lemon tree bark. The association pest control folks hadn’t done anything so I ordered two of these. The first night, with colby jack cheese as bait, I got nothing. The second night, I switched to peanut butter and caught what I’m pretty sure was the mama in one trap and one of the little ones in another. They’re now living in a nearby nature preserve. These worked exactly like they were supposed to with the right bait. Highly recommend.
