I added this to my Sony RX-10 M4 and it changed how I release the shutter. Now, a gentle roll is all that is needed, fostering stability and, consequently, photographic sharpness.As someone beset by neuropathy in his right arm and hand, I found this item to be a heathen godsend. I tip my hat to the sage soul who done thunk it up.Lastly, it seems I have a terrible memory for what my various cameras look like from above, so when I’d open my camera drawer to grab one, I’d often grab the wrong one or have to put some effort into figuring out which is which. Now, my beloved Sony is conspicuously scarlet buttoned by this addition and I can pick her out and grab her in exactly one one-trillionth of a second, flat. Ya gotta love that.I wish that the buttons came in different colors AND Canon’s shutter release buttons were threaded for a remote cable like the Sony is – I’d have all my cameras color coded with vastly improved shutter releases.
