Magnavox ZC320MW8 DVD Recorder

Good basic recorder. No problems figuring out how to record once I actually read the necessary manual pages.Deducted a star because with my particular set up of recorder/cable dvr/tv it is not possible for me to watch the material I am recording as I am recording it, and although it allows you to edit out (“hide”) the commercials in the material you record, they only stay hidden when played back on this unit. When I play the dvd’s on my other dvd players the commercials still display. I only took off one star because: A) I knew of these limitations from previous reviews of this product; and 2) It is the cheapest recorder I could find so some limitations are expected.Having said all this, it has worked flawlessly so far, and I have been able to pull some 100 episodes of “Good Eats” off my dvr for later “consumption”.
