1L Chick Waterer with 2 Chicks Nipple Drinker and Anti-Roost Cone (Pack of 2)

LOVE these! First of all, the mess from an open container and a bunch of chicks is a full time job. I was cleaning out the water bowls 3-4 times a day and it was getting really old. Keep in mind there is bedding and poop in that water so you don’t want to just dump it in the sink. I was brooding my chicks off in a corner of the kitchen so I had to take the bowl outside and hose it out every time. Then you have the spilling and soggy bedding, increased stink, and chilled chicks. All around bad situation. These prevent ALL of that! I can fill the water up and not touch it again for a couple of days. They have clean water and I have less chores! Plus you can start them off immediately since this set comes with the vertical nipple which requires less neck strength. These are also a great size for the brooder. Big enough that I’m not filling them up constantly but not so big that they take up a lot of real estate in the cage.I will say the mounting of this set is a little finicky. I haven’t found a way to mount it to the outside of the cage and face the nipples inward. This is because I have to use the nipples to catch the support bracket otherwise the weight of the water just pushes the bottle down and out.
