OverviewSpecsFAQsGalleriesResourcesReviews Product Description Tru Pel is a concentrated, water-based, low VOC, high-performance, penetrating, silane/siloxane water repellant and sealer designed for dense concrete, brick, and other masonry surfaces. Also EXCELLENT for waterproofing and protecting plain concrete such as sidewalks and driveways. It performs as well as its solvent-based, less earth-friendly counterparts. As it penetrates the surface it reacts with minerals within the substrate and creates a hydrophobic barrier against water intrusion at the surface level. Its unique formula repels water while being highly permeable to water vapor. This is a no-sheen product so it works well for the environmental protection of decorative vertical concrete. This is an excellent primer to use on concrete before using a decorative solvent based acrylic sealer. It prevents water intrusion even when the topical sealers break down over time give long lasting protection. This product is a concentrate. Dilute with 5-9 gallons of water to 1 gallon of Tru Pel. For optimal cost & performance, we recommend a water to Tru Pel ratio of 6:1. Or use at 2:1 dilution for a great graffiti barrier.
