Black Finish Bombard Chanter is a small, double-reed instrument similar to a soprano shawm in range, but shorter in length. It’s in the key of A and is slightly shorter than a soprano recorder in the key of C. Bombards are still used in some Celtic music. This comes with brass nickel plated KEY and imitation ivory (Plastic) Sole, as shown in the picture above. Their tone is high and penetrating.
